Our featured speaker will be Marrianne McBride, CEO of the Sonoma County Council on Aging. She will be presenting “Living Better Together – Sonoma County’s Growing Senior Population.”
Marrianne McBride, CEO of the Sonoma County Council on Aging, has extensive knowledge of the issues facing Sonoma County’s growing senior population.
She has intimate insight into the challenges many senior face and would like to share information about the efforts underway locally to create healthier and happier aging. With more than 100,000 seniors living in Sonoma County today, and a projection of more than 140,000 by 2030, aging issues are especially relevant for those of us living in Sonoma County today.
Council on Aging, founded in 1966 is a non-profit organization providing 17 programs to assist Sonoma County seniors with social, financial, legal and nutritional concerns.
