“Healthy Aging,” I believe, is for anyone at any age. It just so happens that we seniors often consider our age just as we are feeling more aches and pains. I offer my services to seniors, and others, who, like myself, are seeking ways to maintain good health for many years. Many clients find that they can make a difference for themselves through simple lifestyle changes.They are often able to reduce their symptoms.
My services include therapeutic massage for joint and muscle pain, neuropathy and low back pain. Some clients prefer massage to taking additional pharmaceutical drugs due of their side effects. I have worked with cancer patients, those in hospice care, and those who want to maintain health. My work is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine whose goal is to prevent diseases. Typical of this style of massage, clients wear comfortable clothing. Their comfort is of utmost importance.. ..
I am now offering small support groups through which clients often learn from each other and resolve their primary concerns about food, exercise, and stress. I believe that anyone who wants to improve their health at any age can do so. I question familiar attitudes which blame symptoms on ‘old age.’ True, the body does fade over time, however, I also believe that we can slow it down and enjoy quality health well into old age.
Some clients prefer to work with me individually, which can be arranged. I am open to finding the best avenue for improving the quality of someone’s life.
My mission is to offer the best I have to offer of my health experiences, my education, my passion to make a difference, and my hope.for the best outcome.
At no cost, and on a one time basis, I will meet with a group at their facility to introduce my vision and experience (so far) of “healthy aging.”
