I have been an Acupuncturist for 29 years, and I also teach T’ai Chi and Qi Gong. I am a Senior Wellness Specialist. Acupuncture is a service I provide that directly assists my patients with their health issues while T’ai Chi and Qi Gong is something I teach to provide people with the tools to improve their own health. Seniors appreciate the fact that Acupuncture is non-invasive and doesn’t burden them with more medications to take. T’ai Chi and Qi Gong both have a well deserved reputation for helping people improve their health and wellness. T’ai Chi improves balance and increases vitality. Qi Gong also improves our energy. While there is some slow meditative walking in Qi Gong, much of it can be done either standing or sitting so it is less taxing than other forms of exercise. Acupuncture, T’ai Chi and Qi Gong are all extremely well suited to the needs of the Senior population!
